Includes the 2011 Supplement! This book will help environmental attorneys and consultants quickly locate particular statutes and regulations, and understand how they apply. Real estate attorneys and developers will find it helpful for identifying environmental issues affecting the purchase and sale of real property, and minimizing or eliminating potential environmental liabilities.
Written by environmental specialists, Environmental Regulation of Colorado Real Property covers almost every environmental topic likely to come up in Colorado. Each of the 23 chapters includes up-to-date information on statutory and regulatory developments ranging from water quality and reporting obligations to sustainable development and cleanup of contaminated properties.
Chapters on environmental covenants, environmental insurance, endangered species, and open space are invaluable in connection with the transfer and development of real property. Other chapters describe strategies and defenses for dealing with civil and criminal environmental litigation.
The companion CD contains the text of the book in searchable PDF format and many forms in word processing format.
